Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission — Sep 2022 to Nov 2023

I led the Commission’s application management function, overseeing a complex portfolio of digital products and building a sustainable team structure to support continuous improvement, governance, and rapid delivery. My focus was on transforming the way the organisation captured knowledge, delivered enhancements, and governed digital content.

Key Achievements

  • Built and led a team of content developers, establishing a sustainable operating model that aligned with the Commission’s digital strategy and supported the technical requirements of a complex knowledge‑publishing platform.

  • Transformed the team’s delivery approach by introducing Agile DevOps methodologies, enabling faster, more reliable deployment of enhancements and reducing bottlenecks in the development pipeline.

  • Designed and implemented a governance framework to protect the rapid deployment of digital content, including structured processes for capturing ITIL‑aligned artefacts and ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance.

  • Developed a product enhancement pipeline that allowed stakeholders to see their requests progress from idea to delivered feature, improving transparency, engagement, and satisfaction.

  • Implemented a continuous improvement and continuous delivery (CI/CD) model, enabling measurable improvements in deployment quality, speed, and traceability.

  • Created and published ITIL‑based artefacts that mapped the organisation’s application landscape, improving visibility, risk management, and strategic planning.
